Muhammad Ishfaq, father of Aqeel a 16 year old student, feels grateful to Marghzar Welfare for enabling his intellectually disabled son to speak. It has been three years since Aqeel started his speech therapy. Initially, he could only form one word sentences. After he joined Marghzar, he was started with speech therapy sessions. Within 4 weeks, Aqeel could speak two-three word sentences that started making sense to others. His para-linguistic skills have improved over the years and he has now completely integrated with the rest of his class.
